Wednesday evenings from 7:15 – 8:00 p.m. we hold an “all-church” Prayer meeting.
We will be Interceding for our friends, neighbors and ministries.
Pastor of Connections and Congregational Care, Kyle Upton has taken on the coordination of our Wednesday evening prayer times. Pastor Kyle believes deeply in the power of prayer, especially unified prayer of like-minded believers who do not want to settle for what happens through their own power and ingenuity. We serve a God who designed this gift of prayer to allow us a partnership of sorts in what gets accomplished in His kingdom and for His glory. We have the problems. He has the power! He said, “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” John 16:24 NRSV
So, this is a little reminder asking you to join us for the Wednesday evening Prayer Service.
We would love to see more people praying, MORE PEOPLE, AGREEING TOGETHER MORE OFTEN, IN MORE TIMES OF PRAYER, WILL BRING MORE OF WHAT GOD CAN DO! A growing movement of people praying, in faith, to the God of all possibilities, is what will bring blessing to individuals, families, and Bethany and all its ministries. God longs to show Himself powerful on our behalf, meeting needs, finding lost sheep, restoring relationships, and breaking bondages. Let’s join together in this very important aspect of our Christian faith. “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16
